The SR1 Lite may not be significantly lighter than the SR1 (item no. 62L) in terms of weight, but when it comes to budget, it will definitely be easier on your wallet!
It looks practically the same as its big brother, but features handles made of Griv-Ex® (instead of G-10) and a blade made of more economical 8Cr13MoV steel. It has lost none of its sharpness and is always ready for hard use or for the next big adventure.

8Cr13MoV has properties similar to AUS 8A and is a proven steel ideal for manufacturing work knives. At Cold Steel®, in our own tests, this high-carbon stainless steel has proven to be tough and corrosion-resistant. Like AUS 8A, it has good edge retention and can also be easily resharpened.
