You take refuge in an abandoned firehouse in search of a new weapon. Most people have thought the same thing, because the place is clean. However, you're in luck because you stumble across an overturned desk. Beneath the clutter, you find an intact fire axe. After giving it a few test swings, you discover you like the weight, as it cuts right through wood. It could prove very useful.
DETAILS
The Dark Moon Fire Axe is a versatile weapon popular in the post-apocalyptic world. Designed to resemble a real fire axe, this latex replica weapon features a red chopping blade and a sturdy spike on the reverse. The axe is 92 cm long, with a 13 cm long head and a 10 cm straight-edged blade. The 10 cm long inverted spike curves back like a claw. The axe head is attached to an 85 cm long handle, designed to resemble wood coated with black paint.
Made with durable closed-cell foam around a solid fiberglass core and finished with a heavy-duty latex coating, you can be sure this LARP weapon will provide the security and appeal you desire when creating your post-apocalyptic kit.
HISTORY
- The first handled axe was created approximately 6,000 BC using birch tar and rawhide lashings to secure the blade to its handle.
- The main use of the fire axe is to knock down doors and windows.

All latex-coated weapons require a certain level of maintenance. For this purpose, we recommend using maintenance silicone, which can be purchased separately in the LARP Accessories section. Epic Armory Maintenance Silicone is an easy-to-use spray that is 100% pure and acid-free, making it safe to apply. We recommend using Maintenance Silicone regularly. It maintains the flexibility of the latex layer and prevents it from drying out, keeping the product resistant to wear and tear.
Store your latex guns horizontally or on their pommel, NEVER on their tip. Use a simple sheet or towel lining to prevent them from touching a plastic or rubber surface and prevent your gun from sticking to other products. Keep your guns in a cool, dry environment.
