Treat Yourself to a St. Annen Knight's Sword with Scabbard, 12th Century.
St. Annen Knight's sword with scabbard, 12th century
The one-handed sword model offered here is based on an original 12th-century piece that is now part of the collection of the St. Annen Museum in Lübeck.
The double-edged, one-handed knight's sword, classified as an Oakeshott Type XII, features the typical characteristics of High Middle Ages swords. It has a broad, evenly tapered EN45 spring steel blade that is fullered for approximately two-thirds of its length. The cutting edges are not sharpened, and the full tang of the blade is riveted to the pommel. The hilt consists of a steel crossguard, a wood-core grip wrapped in leather, and a bronze disc pommel, topped with a steel rivet block.
This decorative and affordable one-handed sword comes with a light brown wood/leather scabbard that matches the color of the grip.
This medieval sword is designed as a collector's item or decorative object. It is also ideal as an accessory, for example to complete your costume, and will make your transformation into a noble knight simply perfect.
