DELIVERY TIMES

Todo Medieval reserves the right to deduct shipping and associated costs from the refund if:
-The customer has opened the package and the products show signs of damage or wear from use; a proportional amount or nothing will be refunded, depending on the condition of the product(s).

Refunds will not be issued until the order is received and its condition is verified.

International Orders

Todo Medieval, located in Spain, considers any country that is not a member of the European Union to be an international shipment.

The company is not responsible for the customs duties of each country; it is the customer's responsibility to investigate and settle these costs generated at their borders. Todo Medieval reserves the right to deduct shipping and associated costs from the refund if:

RETURN POLICY

We provide an after-sales service to resolve any issues that may arise during the shipping of our items, keeping our customers informed at all times.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, you have a period of 14 calendar days, starting from the date of delivery of the order, to process your return due to withdrawal.

The right of withdrawal will not apply to products made by hand to order, products modified according to specifications requested by the buyer, or those clearly personalized, except in the case of a defect or manufacturing error. The delivery time for products made to order or personalized may take longer than usual depending on the current workload.

You may terminate the purchase contract made in our online store by sending an email within the aforementioned period.

You must send the item or items back to us by your own means. Shipments sent "carriage forward" (cash on delivery for shipping) will not be accepted.

The Customer is granted the right to withdraw from the order within 14 calendar days from the receipt thereof. Outside of this period, cancellations of orders will not be accepted, nor will they be accepted for orders involving the supply of goods made according to the Customer's specifications or clearly personalized, or which, by their nature, cannot be returned or may deteriorate or expire rapidly, etc., that have been unsealed and/or used by the Customer. The Customer must communicate their withdrawal to THE ENTITY via the Withdrawal Form (Link to Document) by email, postal mail, or fax, within that 14-day period. The cost of return shipping shall be borne by the Customer. Products must be in the same condition in which they were received, with the original packaging, and cannot have been used. The refund will be made using the same payment method used by the Customer.

Vegvísir

The drinking horn, generally made from cattle or goat horn, was a popular drinking vessel in many cultures and eras and was particularly important in ceremonies. It remained in use until the early modern period, especially in the Germanic areas of Europe. It was especially popular in Scandinavia in the early Middle Ages. The drinking horn is mentioned in both the Prose Edda and the Poetic Edda. Although fragments of horns from the Viking Age are rarely found in archaeological excavations, the number of preserved metal fittings for drinking horns suggests that their use was much more widespread than finds of the actual horns would suggest.

The drinking horn offered here is handcrafted from cattle horn, polished, and decorated with an engraved vegvísir surrounded by a sequence of runes. The vegvísir (signpost) is a magical sign or so-called sigil (galdrastafir) of Icelandic origin. As a concrete representation, this symbol can first be found in the Icelandic Huld Manuscript by Geir Vigfússon from 1860, a collection of series of runes/spells and sigils. The following is written there about the vegvísir:

When that symbol is carried, the wearer shall not lose their way in storms or winds, even if the path ahead is unknown.

Although the vegvísir is now referred to as the Viking compass, there is no evidence that it was actually used by the Norse in the Viking Age (a good 8 to 10 centuries before the manuscript was written). However, it remains important today. While followers of Germanic neopaganism interpret it as a representation of the nine worlds of Norse mythology, in modern daily life, for example as a pendant or talisman, it is often used as a sign in a figurative sense. Its purpose is to help its wearer survive the storms that life brings, even on unknown paths.

Whether in a modern home or to recreate a medieval or Viking setting, this rustic and highly decorative vessel will be an eye-catcher on any dining table.

For hygienic reasons, the interior of the horn is coated in a way that is food-safe, so that you can enjoy your favorite drink to the fullest.

The scope of delivery includes a practical, easy-to-carry horn stand made of hand-forged steel with a simple principle: if the horn is inserted through the opening, the legs of the stand and the tip of the horn form a stable tripod. This means you can always set your drinking horn down safely.
