The knives in this series have powerful blades made of German 4116 stainless steel, which have been ice-hardened for maximum cutting power, cryo-quenched, and then precision-ground. All models in this collection have an extremely sharp and durable edge, and some of the blades have a serrated edge that has been specifically adapted to the intended tasks of the respective knives.
Starting in 2016, the kitchen classics handles have a new design and ensure an even more secure and comfortable grip. They consist of a strong and durable zy-ex™ core, covered by a softer, food-safe kray-ex™ outer layer that must be felt to understand the true meaning of slip resistance.
