DETAILS
Epic Armoury's Baal is a beautiful two-handed sword with a variable hilt and an extra-long blade. From tip to pommel, the Baal stretches a massive 140 cm, including a 100 cm long grooved center blade with a leather-wrapped ricasso for integral half-sword techniques for longsword fighting in close quarters. The blade can be used with both hands on the handle, or with one hand raised on the ricasso for improved control and greater maneuvering speed.
The Baal sword has a V-shaped crossguard decorated with diamond motifs, protecting the 32 cm handle wrapped in split leather. The grip is ergonomic to give you the best possible control of the long blade. The pentagonal pommel is designed to match the crossguard.
This Baal sword has been designed to fit medieval or fantasy genres with a realistic look that will suit knights and other elite warriors seeking a powerful and elegant edge. Made with durable closed-cell foam around a solid fiberglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, you can be sure that your LARP weapon will provide the safety and appeal you desire when building your battlefield kit.

HISTORY
- Inspired by a prince of hell named Baal, who is said to be Satan's chief assistant.
- Baal is also a term used for Lord , and is sometimes synonymous with God.
- Two-handed swords were not common until after the 13th century, gaining popularity as an infantry weapon in the 15th and 16th centuries.
- Also known as Zweihänder (lit. Two hands)
- The soldiers who trained to use these swords were called Meister des langen Schwertes (lit. Master of the long sword)
- It required the use of two hands to wield, and was so long that it had to be carried unsheathed on the shoulder like a halberd.

All latex-coated weapons require a certain level of maintenance. For this purpose, we recommend using maintenance silicone, which can be purchased separately in the LARP Accessories section. Epic Armory Maintenance Silicone is an easy-to-use spray that is 100% pure and acid-free, making it safe to apply. We recommend using Maintenance Silicone regularly. It maintains the flexibility of the latex layer and prevents it from drying out, keeping the product resistant to wear and tear.
Store your latex guns horizontally or on their pommel, NEVER on their tip. Use a simple sheet or towel lining to prevent them from touching a plastic or rubber surface and prevent your gun from sticking to other products. Keep your guns in a cool, dry environment.
