Slavic temple rings, extra large, pair
This beautiful temple ring was designed based on a historical model worn by the Slavs from the early Middle Ages to the 12th century.
However, temple rings were not only a typical part of the attire of Slavic peoples, but were also widespread among the Alemanni and the Franks, meaning that temple rings can also be found time and again in early medieval finds from southern Germany.
The temple ring gets its name from the fact that it was typically worn in pairs or groups along the temple. To do this, it was simply woven directly into the hair or into a headband or scarf.
This temple ring is available in bronze or silver-plated.
