Herold Gentleman's Tent, 5 x 5 m
With the simple medieval Herold tent, you get an affordable yet spacious and functional tent for military encampments, medieval markets, or LARP. It offers enough space for up to five people, along with luggage and equipment. With a side height of approximately 1.90 m and a center height of approximately 3 m, there's enough headroom even for taller people. The knight's tent is decorated all around with a blanket. A wind and dirt trap is located at the bottom. The two divided side walls allow the medieval tent to be opened from the front and back. Without side walls, you can use the tent as a canopy. To keep the tent compact, we don't use a canopy.
The Herold Knight's tent is delivered complete, i.e. with poles and accessories.
Our tents and tarps are pre-impregnated and therefore water-repellent. To maintain and renew the waterproofing, we recommend regular treatment with a waterproofing spray, such as Pluvonin. This way, you can enjoy your tent for a long time.

Colors and material:
- Natural color (cotton, 425 g/m2)
The dimensions are approximate and may differ from the delivered product. The tents are handmade, which makes them look as authentic as possible, but also involves one or two small errors. Cotton is a natural material that behaves differently in different external conditions; that is, it can shrink or stretch very strongly. This means that the supplied iron poles may not fit immediately into the intended openings. The poles may need to be shortened slightly. Do not try to stretch the tent skin too tightly. This increases the risk of tearing or the seams opening.
Important information about the assembly, handling and care of our historic tents
So that you can enjoy your Viking tent , Roman tent , Saxon tent , knight's tent , medieval tent for a long time, whether you have a tent or a stall at a medieval market , the following tips will be useful:
Don't overstretch the guy lines because natural materials like wood and cotton change with humidity and need space to expand or contract. This prevents, for example, the openings for the roof poles from widening and water from penetrating later. At night, we recommend loosening the guy lines slightly, as humidity increases significantly and there's a chance of putting too much pressure on your tent. If it's raining or very humid, loosen the guy lines a little as well.
After use, be sure to dry your tent if it has gotten damp, otherwise there is a risk of mold growth. Under no circumstances should you use chemicals or other cleaning products to clean your tent. It is best to remove dried dirt with a brush. If you plan to store it for a longer period of time, separate all elements (pegs, ropes, etc.) from the tent canvas and, ideally, pack everything separately. Make sure all parts are dry and stored in a dry place.
