Discover the Herold Knight's Tent, 3 x 3 m
Herold Knight's Tent, 3 x 3 m
With the simple Medieval General Herold tent, you get an affordable yet spacious and functional tent for military camps, medieval markets, or LARP. It offers enough space for 3 people plus luggage and equipment, and with a side height of approximately 1.80 m and a center height of approximately 2.60 m, there is plenty of headroom even for taller people. The knight's tent is decorated with a valance all around. At the bottom, there is a wind and dirt skirt. The Medieval General can be opened at the front and back thanks to the two split side walls. Without side walls, you can use the tent as a canopy. To keep the tent compact, we do not use a canopy.
The Herold knight's tent is delivered complete, that is, with poles and accessories.
Attention: the valance is round, like the red/blue version.

All measurements are approximate and may differ from the product delivered. The tents are handmade, which makes them look as authentic as possible, but also entails one or two small errors. Cotton is a natural material that behaves differently under different external conditions, i.e., it can shrink or stretch significantly. This means that the provided iron poles may not immediately fit into the intended openings. It may be necessary to shorten the poles slightly. Do not try to stretch the tent skin with great force. This increases the risk of it tearing or the seams opening.
Important information about the assembly, handling, and care of our historical tents
So that you can enjoy your Viking tent, Roman tent, Saxon tent, knight's tent, Medieval General tent, merchant's tent, or medieval market stall for a long time, the following tips are useful:
Do not overtighten the ropes, because natural materials like wood and cotton change with humidity and need space to expand or contract. This prevents, for example, the openings for the poles in the roof from widening and water from being able to penetrate later. At night, we recommend loosening the ropes slightly, as humidity increases significantly and there is a possibility that too much pressure will be exerted on your tent. If it rains or is very humid, loosen the ropes slightly. After use, make sure to dry the tent if it has become damp; otherwise, there is a risk of mold formation. Under no circumstances should you use chemicals or other cleaning products to clean your tent. It is best to remove dry dirt with a brush. If you want to store it for a longer period of time, separate all elements (pegs, ropes, etc.) from the tent canvas and it is better to pack everything separately. Make sure that all parts are dry and stored in a dry place.
