Discover Horn Drinking Cup
Small cup made of authentic horn - not food safe
This cup is handcrafted from polished cattle horn. It is not only ideal for reenactment purposes, but also highly decorative in the modern home and can make a great gift idea. Thanks to its rustic look, the drinking vessel makes any medieval setting appear even more authentic and is an eye-catcher on any dining table.
The inside of the cup is not sealed in a food-safe manner. To fully enjoy your favorite beverage, you might consider painting or sealing the interior. Using melted beeswax, for example, is a traditional sealing method.
Horn cups are not dishwasher safe and should be cleaned thoroughly with lukewarm water and a soft cloth before the first (and after each) use. To protect the material from damage, aggressive cleaning products must be avoided at all costs.
