Merchant Tankard 0.5 L

Description

The road to the next market is long and exhausting, but one still tends to travel in comfort. You travel in one of the finest wagons and hire some of the best guards (after all, traveling with expensive goods can be dangerous!), so at night you feel safe enough to enjoy a frothy tankard.

Any liquid goes well inside your merchant tankard, both for practical reasons and for its unique aesthetic. As a successful merchant, you must ensure you keep up appearances!

DETAILS

The Dark Trader tankard by Epic Armoury is a drinking vessel designed to hold half a liter of your favorite beverage. This tankard is made of genuine horn and comes from the Indian water buffalo, chosen specifically for its dark color. The exterior is polished to perfection and is smooth to the touch, while the inside of the tankard is polished and treated for food consumption.

Enjoy cool and room-temperature liquids in your tankard while maintaining character, hiding unsightly plastic bottles. Our drinking tankards are a great addition to markets and campsites. With proper care, you can expect your Trader tankard to last for many years.

HISTORY

  • The ancient Greeks and Romans were known to use horns for drinking
  • The ancient Greek term for a drinking horn was simply keras, meaning "horn".
  • The first mugs were made of wood and later evolved into pottery

Quality

Your horn is made of genuine Indian water buffalo horn, a product made from authentic keratin. It was handmade and, therefore, each horn is unique in its own way thanks to the artist and the variations in each individual horn. This horn has been specially created for food use, but we recommend that you look after it properly to keep it in good condition for continued use.

This product is handmade and painted and is therefore unique. As a result, compared to similar item numbers, this product may have natural deviations in pattern, color, and shape, which are not considered defects or faults.
We produce our image material in a natural environment, where lighting and the environment can affect colors and contrast. Therefore, the images shown may appear different from the product you receive from us.

Measurements are all in cm unless otherwise stated.

Maintenance

To best care for your genuine horn product, avoid washing it in the dishwasher or with solvents, detergents, and/or harsh chemicals. Use mild soap and warm water and dry it with a towel immediately after washing. Do not place the horn in the microwave or use it with hot liquids, as this may melt the internal coating and extreme temperature changes can cause the horn to crack. Avoid rubbing the horn against sharp objects, as its surface can get scratched. Keep your horn away from extreme heat or cold.
