Barbarian Mug

Description

Hunger-Satiator

The Barbarian Dark Mug by Epic Armoury is a drinking vessel designed to hold a liter of your preferred beverage. Feel the strength and the force. Valor flows through you when you hold this authentic bull horn mug in your hand, make a toast, and recount your war stories. The product is made of genuine horn, collected from the Indian water buffalo and handcrafted. The exterior is polished to perfection and is smooth to the touch, while the interior is polished and treated for food consumption.

Enjoy cool, room-temperature liquids in your mug while still having character, hiding unsightly plastic bottles. Our mugs are a great addition to markets and camps. With proper care, you can expect your Barbarian mug to last for many years.

Comes in a dark and light design.

Remember not to use it for hot drinks, as the heat will cause the horn to change shape. Since this product is made of a natural material, each horn is unique and the color may vary from the image shown.

HISTORY

  • Ancient Greeks and Romans used horns for drinking
  • The ancient Greek term for a drinking horn was simply keras, meaning "horn"
  • In the prose Edda, Thor is challenged to drink from a horn that, unknowingly, contains all the seas. He manages to drink a large portion of its content and, therefore, scares Útgarða-Loki and his kin.

Quality

Your mug/horn is made of authentic Indian water buffalo horn, a product crafted from genuine keratin. It was handmade and, therefore, each mug/horn is unique in its own way, thanks to the artist and the variations in each individual horn. This bowl/dish has been created especially for food use, but we recommend taking proper care of it to keep the product in good condition for continued use.

This product is handmade and painted and is therefore unique. As a result, compared to similar item numbers, this product may have natural deviations in pattern, color, and shape, which are not considered defects or faults.
We produce our image material in a natural environment, where lighting and surroundings can affect colors and contrast. Therefore, the images shown may appear different from the product you receive from us.

All measurements are in cm unless otherwise stated.

Maintenance

To best care for your genuine horn product, avoid washing it in the dishwasher or with solvents, detergents, and/or harsh chemicals. Use a mild soap and lukewarm water and dry it with a towel immediately after washing. Do not place your bowl/dish in the microwave or use it for hot liquids, as this may melt the inner lining and extreme temperature changes can cause the horn to crack. Avoid rubbing your bowl/dish against sharp objects, as its surface can be scratched. Keep your bowl/dish away from extreme heat or cold.
