The Practical Seax is a replica designed for stage combat, inspired by the Seax knives used by Germanic and Viking peoples. Its robust design and careful craftsmanship make it an ideal choice for historical reenactors seeking authenticity and safety in staged fighting.
Designed for action and precision
The blade, made of carbon steel, features a rounded tip and a blunt edge adapted to the safety requirements of stage combat. The blade includes a typical wide fuller that improves balance and reduces the total weight of the weapon. The handle, with riveted wooden scales on a full tang, provides a solid and comfortable grip. It comes with a pigskin sheath with double loops for horizontal carry, preventing accidental drops during reenactment.
