DescriptionAs a squire, you must wake up with the sun to prepare for your training. You are responsible for your master, as well as your additional duties, and only after the morning water is boiled and you have prepared your master's clothing and polished your armor will you be able to begin your exercises.
What armor do you have? An RFB Neck & Shoulders set is easy enough to use while practicing your sword movements. One day you'll be a fearsome knight. For now, you should continue training hard and developing your skills.
DETAILS
Epic Armoury's Ready for Battle Neck and Shoulders is a simplified version of our neck plate armor, designed to protect the upper body while remaining comfortable and lightweight. A padded cotton ruff sits comfortably around the neck and over the shoulders, providing padding under other metal armor or worn alone. Each shoulder is then protected with the addition of a polished-to-shine steel pauldron.
Secure the RFB Neck & Shoulder Guard by tightening the cotton cords, adjusting them so that the ruff sits comfortably around the neck while the pauldrons sit atop the shoulders. Crafted from 1mm thick polished mild steel and heavy-duty cotton, this piece of armor is designed to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with the usual care of cotton and metal armor.
Available in sizes X-Small/Small, Medium/Large and X-Large/XX-Large.

Epic Armory metal works products still need to be treated with oil and kept in dry storage.
Cleaning
If your armor gets wet, it is important to dry it completely as soon as possible.
After handling, use, or after six months of storage or display, all metal should be wiped clean with a clean cloth. Lightly oil the cleaned surface with a quality machine or mineral oil. Alternatively, you can apply a coat of wax to the entire surface of the exposed metal. Let the wax dry for a couple of hours, then lightly buff it with a soft cloth.
Prevention and elimination of rust
Store your armor in a dry place and check it every two months for signs of rust. If you find any, remove it by gently rubbing the affected area with a mildly abrasive pad moistened with paste wax, oil, or water-displacing fluid.
Cotton maintenance
This heavyweight cotton product is heavier than medium cotton, almost like denim. This material wrinkles easily, but can be ironed at a medium temperature.
Machine wash at 40°C / 104°F. Wash separately for the first time and with similar colors thereafter. Tumble dry on low heat, but please note that shrinkage may occur up to 5%. For general stains or discoloration, treat with a commercial fabric cleaner or dry with warm water and a soft cloth.
