Epic Armoury's Dark Red Noble Leather Poleyns are a pair of leather guards designed to protect your knees from pesky arrows. Molded and cut to provide the utmost protection to your entire knee, including the sides and tops of your shins, you can rely on this armor to keep you on your feet. The overlapping plates provide comfort and flexibility, allowing for great mobility on the battlefield. Perhaps most importantly, these poleyns also feature incredible details like scalloped leather and red velvet edging, as well as cutout designs.
Made from premium, hard leather, these armor pieces are designed to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather care. Two leather straps are used to hold each Noble Poleyn in place. Brass grommets along the shins and at the top of the poleyns can be used to attach shin and thigh guards. Worn alone or with full armor, these Noble Poleyns are sure to add some class to your costume.
Available in dark red, green, and black; and one size fits most.

Maintenance
Natural leather products are very durable, but they require regular maintenance with leather care products to stay supple and increase their lifespan. Make sure your leather products stay dry when stored. Let wet leather dry naturally before treating it. If it gets wet and dries frequently, increase the frequency of maintenance.
Cleaning
Clean by removing dirt with a stiff brush, then gently rub leather soap with a clean, damp cloth until the leather looks clean. Remove the soap with a separate damp cloth to clean any soap residue, and then use a dry cloth to wipe away any remaining water from the leather.
Conditioning
You should always condition leather after cleaning it, as the soap will have removed some of its natural oils. Treat the leather with mink oil, olive oil, or beeswax using a clean cloth, gently rubbing a small amount of oil or wax into the leather in circles. Allow the leather to soak in the oil before wiping it with a final clean cloth to remove excess residue.
