DescriptionMOVING DECK
The Epic Armory Tarp is a simple yet conveniently versatile product. Made from a tough, unbleached fabric (65% cotton, 35% polyester, 350gsm), weatherproofed with paraffin wax for durability, the Epic Armory Tarp is fortified with patches at each corner and along the edges of the tarp. A triangular ring is attached to each patch, allowing the tarp to serve multiple purposes: A practical awning as a stylish entrance to your tent? Or perhaps as a crosswalk between two tents? Elevated on four tent poles and held down with stakes, the Epic Armory Tarp could even serve as a pleasant cover over a long table in the center of your campsite. With two tent poles and a few pins, it could become a makeshift roadside shelter. Add a levitation spell, and you can even fly as fast as any carpet! Arcane discretion is advised. Please note that poles, pegs, pins, and turnbuckles are not included.
Epic Armory canvas is available in six sizes, all undyed: 2x2m, 2x4m, 3x3m, 3x4m, 3x5m, 4x4m, 4x5m, 4x6m.
WHAT DOES THE CANVAS DO? WHAT DOES IT MEAN?
The word tarpaulin is derived from tar, which has been used for waterproofing throughout history, and the Latin word pallium defines a rectangular piece of fabric. Thus, a tarp, or simply a canvas, is a rectangular piece of waterproof fabric. However, we've designed Epic Armory Tarpaulin with modern updates to give you the best and most versatile experience.

Maintenance
Our tents and awnings are treated with a water-repellent and mildew-resistant coating, but mildew is a long-standing problem in tents, so preventative measures are essential, although we cannot guarantee complete control. Below are some guidelines for preventing mildew:
-
Use a groundsheet: We recommend using a groundsheet under your tent to reduce moisture rising from the ground.
Make sure the tent is set up properly so that water drains easily from the fabric and the tent is protected from leaks and mold growth.
Make sure the tent is completely dry before storing it, as damp fabrics encourage mold growth.
If the tent is not completely dry before storage, it may develop a musty odor and compromise the water-repellent coatings.
Do not store the tent in hot or humid places such as a basement.
Avoid cooking inside the tent, as this can cause mold to form on the fabric.
Don't wash dishes inside the tent, as dishwater is one of the fabric's biggest enemies.
Pitch your tent on a dry, clear day.
Take special care in high humidity climates to avoid mold.
-
Do not hang a dishcloth over a bar inside the tent, as soap residue can damage the fabric.
Ventilate the tent, especially when not in use.
Avoid pitching your tent under trees, as bird droppings and tree debris after rain can cause mold growth.
Regular Cleaning: Encourage regular cleaning of the tent with mild soap and cold water to remove dirt and organic materials, which can promote mold growth.
Check for damage: Periodically check for signs of wear or damage. Small rips or tears can allow moisture to penetrate, which can lead to mold growth.
