The medieval man-at-arms was a brave and loyal fighter full of martial heroism who mastered a variety of weapons with great skill. In honor of these tough and dedicated wandering soldiers, Cold Steel has created the Man at Arms (MAA) weapon collection.

The leaf-shaped spear is a true classic that has been found all over the world throughout history. For hundreds of years, it was used by countless peoples for both hunting and as a weapon of war, and for good reason: it worked! The long shaft socket provides extra strength and reinforces the central ridge of the head, while the extra-wide cutting edges on both sides of the blade and the powerful tip ensure extraordinary piercing power. The leaf-shaped spear offered a variety of uses on the battlefield and in hunting. It was light, maneuverable, and equally suitable for throwing, thrusting, and cutting.
