DescriptionYour hand crushes another foolish, sturdy defender running to his death. With a grin on your face, you charge into the shield wall of the last remaining troops, and your vigor and brutality strike fear into their hearts.
One of your hands crosses the shield wall, your Raider Bracer striking metal first into the nose of one of the defenders, breaking the formation. They try to stab your hand, but the metal and the underlying chainmail make it impossible...
DETAILS
The Raider full set by Epic Armoury is a full armor set worthy of a Raider. The Raider set includes a pair of bracers, a breastplate, a gorget, a pair of pauldrons, a pair of tassets, a pair of greaves and a helmet. With a dark, rusted appearance to give it a more evil and brutal look, these bracers would work perfectly with Marauders of the North or marauding orcs.
Made of 1 mm thick mild steel and vegetable-tanned leather straps and fittings, this piece of armor is designed to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with the usual maintenance of leather and metal armor.
Available in Small/Medium and Large/XL sizes.

p>Epic Armoury Metal Works products should still be treated with oil and kept in a dry place. All our metal armor contains leather parts that need regular maintenance using leather care products to prevent the leather from drying out.
Cleaning
If your armor gets wet, it is important that you dry it completely as soon as possible.
After handling, wearing, or after six months of storage or display, all metal must be cleaned with a clean cloth. Lightly oil the clean surface with a quality machine or mineral oil. Alternatively, you can apply a layer of wax to the entire surface of the exposed metal. Let the wax dry for a couple of hours and then lightly buff it with a soft cloth.
Prevention and removal of rust
Store your armor in a dry place and check it every two months for signs of rust. If you find any, remove it by gently rubbing the affected area with a lightly abrasive pad dampened with paste wax, oil, or water-displacing liquid.
Leather straps and fittings
Clean by removing dirt with a stiff brush, then rub gently with leather soap and a clean, damp cloth until the leather appears clean. Remove the soap with a separate damp cloth to clean off any soap residue and then use a dry cloth to wipe the remaining water from the leather.
You should always condition the leather after cleaning it, as the soap will have removed some of its natural oils. Treat the leather with mink oil, olive oil, or beeswax with a clean cloth, gently rubbing a small amount of oil or wax in circles into the leather. Let the leather soak in the oil before wiping it with a final clean cloth to remove excess residue.
