This elegant dao, which was designed by the world-famous martial arts master Sifu Adam Hsu for the traditional Chinese sport of wushu, is made of tough 65Mn carbon steel.
For Sifu Hsu, functionality, weight, and balance are always crucial factors in all his designs and, combined with Hanwei's high standards of quality and craftsmanship, the result is elegant and beautiful swords. The single-edged blade of this sword has a fuller shape. The curved sword pommel (ox-tail) and the scabbard with side slots are designed for quick drawing of the sword.
There is a metal loop on the sword pommel, which is perfect for attaching sword tassels or ribbons. This dao with a sharp blade is lightweight, fits comfortably in the hand, and can be handled effortlessly by both beginners and experienced martial artists alike.
