The delivery time for products made to order or personalized may take longer than usual depending on the current workload.

You must send the item or items back to us by your own means. Shipments sent "carriage forward" (cash on delivery for shipping) will not be accepted.

Gauntlets were an indispensable part of plate armor in the late Middle Ages. They offered optimal protection for the hands and wrists both on the battlefield and in jousting tournaments.



Due to their special hourglass shape, the late medieval combat gloves that we offer here in pairs are also known as hourglass gauntlets. They are handmade from steel approximately 1.6 mm thick (slight variations in steel thickness may occur due to the manufacturing process). The interior is blackened for better protection against corrosion.



These battle-ready armored gauntlets are characterized not only by their authentic appearance but also by their flexibility, which ensures sufficient freedom of movement. The riveted inner gloves made of soft suede and the stitched-in finger inserts made of sturdy leather ensure the necessary comfort. To prevent possible chafing, additional leather strips are riveted to the inside of the cuffs. A sturdy riveted leather strap at each wrist keeps the glove firmly in place, ensuring a secure hold during combat. For individual size adjustment, the strap is pre-punched and equipped with a steel buckle.
