DescriptionThe alarm bell rings in the city while you're working in the fields, and there isn't enough warning for the farmers to find safety before the raiders close in. All you have is your scythe, and it's this you grip in your worn, calloused hands as they descend.
Along with your fellow workers, you fight bravely. They don't expect peasants like you to fight so hard! You don't want to die, so you're also grateful that the attackers seem as untrained as you are, as the fight continues.
DETAILS
The Epic Armoury War Scythe is a 60cm latex short axe with a 20cm blade. The weapon is fully hand-painted with wood and metal finishes. The blade is angled and designed to match the realism of the traditionally shaped handle, with a deadly hook at the end inspired by armor-piercing weapons... as well as a more obvious farmer's tool!
Made from durable closed-cell foam around a fiberglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, you can be sure that your LARP weapon will provide the security and appeal you desire when building your kit.

- Designed as a weapon against armored opponents at close range
- Considered an improvised weapon used by peasants in uprisings, while the blade would have been turned to look more like a spear

All latex-coated weapons require a certain level of maintenance. For this purpose, we recommend using maintenance silicone, which can be purchased separately in the LARP Accessories section. Epic Armory Maintenance Silicone is an easy-to-use spray that is 100% pure and acid-free, making it safe to apply. We recommend using Maintenance Silicone regularly. It maintains the flexibility of the latex layer and prevents it from drying out, keeping the product resistant to wear and tear.
Store your latex guns horizontally or on their pommel, NEVER on their tip. Use a simple sheet or towel lining to prevent them from touching a plastic or rubber surface and prevent your gun from sticking to other products. Keep your guns in a cool, dry environment.
