This lamellar skirt is intricately handcrafted from 20-gauge mild steel, Visby-style plates, assembled with genuine leather cords. The entire structure of this armor is fixed onto sturdy leather, making it durable and easy to wear. Try it on and you will immediately know why it was so popular in that era. Its total length is 29.5 cm with a total width of 40 cm and the maximum belt width is 5.5 cm.
Note: This product is carefully coated with a layer of oil when packed that acts as a temporary (protective) layer against corrosion (rust), which can be easily wiped off with any oil remover or even a dry cloth.
