Medieval Europe, with a hilt designed for use with one or two hands. The crossguard is smaller than most European swords, allowing for a greater range of motion when using the blade. The grip is made of polyurethane and features a high degree of detail, sculpted to look like wood reinforced with rivets and gold bands, while the crossguard and pommel are steel-colored with gold accents. The grip ensures a great hold for the bearer. The blade is made of closed-cell polyurethane foam and colored to look as realistic as possible. Unlike most LARP weapons, the Vanguard line requires virtually no maintenance beyond checking for wear in the form of cuts or tears."
