The heads of fallen enemies were often prominently displayed for all to see. Time and use have taken their toll on this once magnificent sword, which is now bruised and aged, but of course; it remains a reliable, fully functioning weapon that gets the job done.
The Epic Armoury Battle-Worn Celtic Blade Sword is a latex-hybrid longsword inspired by the Celtic tribes of early history. The sword measures 60 cm long from tip to pommel, with a double-edged blade designed for slashing thanks to its leaf shape. The detailed crossguard and crescent-shaped pommel feature gold detailing and protect a sculpted grip. The handle is molded and painted to look like leather and is ergonomically shaped, allowing for comfort and a stunning appearance without the maintenance of leather. Featuring unique painted and sculpted detail effects, such as rust spots, nicks, and scratches.

Maintenance
The polyurethane handle of this hybrid weapon requires no special maintenance. The leather wrapped around the grip requires care.
Leather Grip Care
Natural leather products are very durable, but they require regular maintenance with leather care products to stay supple and extend their lifespan. Make sure your leather products stay dry when stored. Let wet leather dry naturally before treating it. If it frequently gets wet and dries, increase the frequency of maintenance.
Cleaning
Clean by removing dirt with a stiff brush, then gently rub leather soap with a clean, damp cloth until the leather looks clean. Remove the soap with a separate damp cloth to clean any soap residue, and then use a dry cloth to wipe away any remaining water from the leather.
Conditioning
You should always condition leather after cleaning it, as the soap will have removed some of its natural oils. Treat the leather with mink oil, olive oil, or beeswax using a clean cloth, gently rubbing a small amount of oil or wax into the leather in circles. Allow the leather to soak in the oil before wiping it with a final clean cloth to remove excess residue.
Latex Sheet Care
The blade of this LARP weapon has a latex coating that requires some maintenance. For this purpose, we recommend using Maintenance Silicone, which can be purchased separately in the LARP Accessories section. Epic Armory Maintenance Silicone is an easy-to-use spray that is 100% pure and acid-free, making it safe to apply. We recommend using Maintenance Silicone regularly, taking care not to spray the handle by first wrapping it in cling film. This maintains the flexibility of the latex layer and prevents it from drying out, keeping the product resistant to wear and tear.
Storage
Store your gun horizontally or on its pommel, NEVER on its tip. Use a simple sheet or towel lining to prevent it from touching a plastic or rubber surface and prevent your gun from sticking to other materials. Keep your gun in a cool, dry environment.
