At the dawn of Midgard, when northern winds whispered legends into the ears of warriors, two winged shadows crossed the skies: Hugin and Munin, thought and memory, the omnipresent eyes of Odin. This round Viking shield, decorated with their majestic forms, pays homage to the heralds of the All-Father, spiritual protectors of the Norse warrior.
Norse protection with the gaze of the raven god's messengers
Forged for honor and evocation, this 80 cm diameter shield, made of solid 13 mm plywood, is reinforced with three wooden slats riveted to its back, and protected around its entire perimeter by a sturdy rawhide (parchment) edge. At the center, a generously sized steel boss offers defense and elegance, and is secured with four rivets, providing a firm grip via a central handle wrapped in genuine leather.
