Footman Tower Shield

Description

You stand firm outside the gates of your enemy's fortress, alongside other footmen. Inside, their people are filled with terror, deafened by the trumpets and the noise of your army. Arrows rain down, and you and your fellow soldiers form a barrier with your enormous footman tower shields.

There is nothing that can stop you. The design of your shield allows you to stay in close formation, advance toward their defenders, and dispatch them quickly.

DETAILS

The Epic Armoury Footman Tower Shield is a kite-shaped latex shield originally inspired by the Greeks. Finished with a hand-painted wooden body and a decorative metallic border, this shield is sure to impress your fellow warriors on the battlefield.

Use this left-handed Footman Tower Shield with the use of two versatile leather straps on the back. Feel confident that this hard, latex and EVA foam shield will withstand the continuous abuse of a LARP with regular latex maintenance.

HISTORY

  • An iron rim was sometimes used as a way to reinforce the shield
  • Offered protection to most of the warrior's body

Quality

  • Strong latex coating over hard EVA foam, which does not flex in combat
  • Made of durable closed-cell foam that does not shred
  • The handle is made of EVA foam and two adjustable leather straps for a firm grip
  • High safety, approved by major organizations

This product is hand-made and hand-painted and therefore unique. As a result, compared to similar item numbers, this product may have natural deviations in pattern, color, and shape, which are not considered defects or faults.
We produce our image material in a natural setting, where lighting and surroundings can affect colors and contrast. Therefore, the images shown may appear different from the product you receive from us.

Measurements are all in cm unless otherwise stated.

Maintenance

All latex-coated products need a certain degree of maintenance. For this, we recommend using maintenance silicone, which can be purchased separately in the LARP Accessories section. Epic Armoury maintenance silicone is an easy-to-use spray, 100% pure and acid-free, making it safe to apply. We recommend using maintenance silicone on a regular basis. It keeps the latex layer flexible and prevents it from drying out, keeping the product wear-resistant.

Store your latex shield in a cool, dry environment. Use a simple sheet or towel to prevent it from touching a plastic or rubber surface to avoid your shield sticking to other products.
