The Epic Armory Gold-Black Core Ranger Knife has a pragmatic and imposing appearance. With an overall length of 32 cm and a blade length of 17 cm, it's a knife best used as a backup, with a pointed tip for penetrating skin and a single-sided, razor-sharp edge. The simple, authentic design makes the Ranger Knife adaptable to most environments and perfect as a secondary weapon, whether for a warrior, a marksman, or a survivalist character like a Ranger. Made from durable, closed-cell PU foam with high tear resistance, you can be sure that your LARP weapon will provide the security and appeal you desire when creating your LARP kit.
Construction! With or without a core?
The Ranger Knife comes in two different constructions: a version with a flat fiberglass core and a version without a core (coreless). Cored Ranger knives have a gold-colored crossguard, while the coreless versions come with a steel-colored crossguard. This way, you can immediately identify whether the weapon is cored or not. The flat fiberglass core gives the dagger high rigidity at the vertical angle and more flexibility at the horizontal angle, giving a feeling of greater control compared to a coreless construction. Some people associate a stiffer feel with higher quality. The flat-core construction is not designed to block blows from LARP weapons, but simply an option for a more rigid feel. We have chosen to make The Ranger Knife with and without cores, as some LARP campaigns have specific rules for LARP weapons, and with these options to choose from, you can find the right fit for your needs and your LARP game.
