Khopesh Knife

Description

DO NOT DISAPPOINT THE PHARAOH

The Khopesh from Epic Armoury is a 37 cm curved blade of ancient Egyptian inspiration. It has no crossguard, but features a fine, coreless pommel. The sharp, organic features are heavily inspired by the Khopesh of Ancient Egypt. Made from durable closed-cell foam around a fiberglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, you can be sure that your LARP weapon will provide the safety and appeal you desire when creating your LARP kit.

HISTORY

  • Originally, khopeshes were made of bronze, but later they were found in iron.
  • Khopeshes were made to be a cutting and bludgeoning weapon, and due to their heavy nature, they could be used for both.
  • Curved is especially effective for slashing (rather than stabbing) in combat

Quality

  • Strong latex coating with a round fiberglass core
  • Strong Kevlar core tip protection
  • Made of durable closed-cell foam that does not shred
  • High safety, approved by top organizations

This product is handmade and hand-painted and is therefore unique. As a result, compared to similar item numbers, this product may have natural deviations in pattern, color, and shape, which are not considered defects or faults.
We produce our image material in a natural environment, where lighting and surroundings can affect colors and contrast. Therefore, the images shown may appear different from the product you receive from us.

Maintenance

All latex-coated weapons need a certain degree of maintenance. For this, we recommend using maintenance silicone, which can be purchased separately in the LARP Accessories section. Epic Armoury maintenance silicone is an easy-to-apply spray, 100% pure and acid-free, making it safe to apply. We recommend using Maintenance Silicone on a regular basis. It maintains the flexibility of the latex layer and prevents it from drying out, keeping the product resistant to wear.

Store your latex weapons horizontally or on their pommel, NEVER on their tip. Use a simple sheet or towel lining to prevent it from touching a plastic or rubber surface to avoid your weapon sticking to other products. Keep your weapons in a cool, dry environment.
