Our products are delivered via various courier agencies (Seur, Correos, Gls, Fedex, or Nacex) using express home delivery. Delivery times range from 24 hours to several weeks depending on:

Todo Medieval reserves the right to deduct shipping and associated costs from the refund if:
-The customer has opened the package and the products show signs of damage or wear from use; a proportional amount or nothing will be refunded, depending on the condition of the product(s).

International Orders

Todo Medieval, located in Spain, considers any country that is not a member of the European Union to be an international shipment.

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, you have a period of 14 calendar days, starting from the date of delivery of the order, to process your return due to withdrawal.

The right of withdrawal will not apply to products made by hand to order, products modified according to specifications requested by the buyer, or those clearly personalized, except in the case of a defect or manufacturing error. The delivery time for products made to order or personalized may take longer than usual depending on the current workload.

You may terminate the purchase contract made in our online store by sending an email within the aforementioned period.

You must send the item or items back to us by your own means. Shipments sent "carriage forward" (cash on delivery for shipping) will not be accepted.

The Customer is granted the right to withdraw from the order within 14 calendar days from the receipt thereof. Outside of this period, cancellations of orders will not be accepted, nor will they be accepted for orders involving the supply of goods made according to the Customer's specifications or clearly personalized, or which, by their nature, cannot be returned or may deteriorate or expire rapidly, etc., that have been unsealed and/or used by the Customer. You are standing on the shore, with the seagulls crying, one hand on your prominent belly and the other shading your face against the intense sunlight, watching as the red and white sails approach with the promise of exciting new stories and exotic products. The longing has been tormenting.

And finally you see him. Their stalwart man, proud and magnificent, standing by the prow, with a strong arm raised in greeting. His armour caught by a sunbeam that shone in the brilliant midday.

DETAILS

Very few things offer greater protective qualities than steel, when it comes to historical armour. But steel also brings disadvantages such as weight, inflexibility, and the need for constant maintenance to protect against rust. However, today, unless you are in a reenactment or on the SCA battlefield, you simply do not need the level of protection that steel offers.

Here at Epic Armoury we would like to present our Light Kit Edition armours. Light Kit armours are pieces made of polyurethane, designed to look like authentic metal armour. Created with weight, comfort, and utility in mind, the Light Kit Edition armours are for those who want to look like they are wearing authentic metal armour while still being comfortable.

To the untrained eye, these polyurethane armours are difficult to distinguish from their metal counterparts. However, they are more comfortable to wear and can be worn for long periods of time without discomfort. In fact, the flexible nature of this armour means it can bend to the contours of your body in a way that rigid steel does not. Each piece weighs a quarter of its steel equivalent, allowing for faster movement with less fatigue. Each piece is hand-painted with a durable acrylic finish and detailed to look as realistic as possible. The maintenance-free finish does not rust like steel and can be used in all types of weather. Adjustable leather straps and the flexible nature of the armour allow it to be worn comfortably.

Maintenance

With proper care and attention, your purchase should last for many years.
Your armour is made of a polyurethane material that is very durable and will hold its shape if cared for correctly.

Please note that while the armour is durable, it is designed for costume purposes only and should not be worn or relied upon as protection.

Do not leave it exposed to the sun for long periods of time, as the heat can cause the polyurethane to become malleable to the touch.

CLEANING

Your item has been professionally finished with durable paint and polish. Inevitably, as with any painted surface, they will scratch and wear over time.
For surface dirt, we recommend washing with warm soapy water and a soft cloth, avoiding the leather straps.
DO NOT use solvent-based cleaners or insect sprays on or near the armour.
Leather straps can be polished with regular shoe polish, but avoid letting the polish come into contact with the armour's surface.

STORAGE

Breastplates and backplates should be fastened together and ideally hung on a hanger or a similar suspension system. It is also best to store shoulder guards on hangers.
Ideally, helmets should be placed on a stand, so that any protruding elements, such as nasal fins and cheek guards, are loose. We have helmet stands available in our online store if needed.
We recommend that leg guards and bracers be tied around something cylindrical when not in use; for example, drain pipes and drink bottles could be used.
DO NOT store the armour on or near a heat source, as this can cause warping.
