Renegade Complete Armour Set - Feminine
Description"Fire engulfed the entire city at a terrifying pace. She wondered for a moment if anyone would be left to rebuild, whoever won this pestilent conflict. Then she pushed the thoughts aside. She had to do it. Instincts clouded by thoughts could be fatal in the war-scorched streets. Her eyes met his and they pushed forward. Armored, armed, and burning."
The Renegade complete armour set is the essential plate armour for opportunistic and well-equipped mercenaries, gruff guards, and disciplined infantry. The armour is available in Matte Polish, ideal for a proud and polished fighter, or Epic Dark for a more somber and gritty demeanor. Good and evil are like right and wrong: just add your character!
The Feminine Renegade complete armour set consists of a Renegade Cuirass Feminine, Renegade Shoulders, Renegade Choker, Renegade Vambraces, Renegade Greaves, and Renegade Belt & Tassets. For masculine fits, we recommend the Renegade Complete Armour Set Masculine.
You can also combine the armour with parts from other Epic Armoury armour products to modify the overall design. Since the armour is designed to protect the wearer from blows, many of our designs feature overlapping metal plates, which can lead to scratches with use.

Maintenance
Epic Armoury Metal Works products should be treated with acid-free quality vegetable oil or wax and kept in a dry place. Metal armour containing leather parts would require separate maintenance for the leather. Read the "Leather Straps and Accessories" section below to learn about cleaning and leather maintenance with leather care products.
Degreasing and preparing your armour for use
When you open your armour, you may be overwhelmed by the smell of grease and oil. The oil has been applied to protect your armour during storage and transport. Use a degreasing product or mineral spirits and a dry cloth or paper towel to remove all the oil from the plate armour pieces. It is a little more difficult to remove all the oil from chainmail links, but it can be done in the same way. Wipe off as much as you can with a dry cloth, and with the remaining oil, you can remove the grease from the chainmail with mineral spirits or another solvent by spraying it onto the links. You can also choose to submerge your chainmail completely in a degreasing product and use your hands to agitate the metal in the solution; this will completely remove all oil and grease from your links. After removing the oil, be sure to dry the armour thoroughly. Strong, warm sunlight is great for drying your armour, but you can also use a hairdryer or a heat gun to speed up the process. Be careful not to overheat any leather parts when using a heat gun.
Cleaning
Moisture is the enemy of armour and chainmail. If your armour gets wet, it is important that you dry it thoroughly as soon as possible. After handling, wearing, or after six months of storage or display, all metal should be wiped down with a clean cloth. Lightly oil the clean surface with acid-free quality vegetable oil. Alternatively, you can apply a layer of wax to the entire surface of the exposed metal. Let the wax dry for a couple of hours and then lightly buff it with a soft cloth.
Prevention and removal of rust
Store your armour in a dry place and check it every two months for signs of rust. If you find any, remove it by gently rubbing the affected spot with a lightly abrasive pad dampened with acid-free quality vegetable oil or wax. Epic Dark products are specially treated to resist rust, but they should still be treated with oil and stored in a dry place.
Leather straps and accessories
Clean them by removing dirt with a stiff brush, then gently rub with leather soap and a clean, damp cloth until the leather looks clean. Remove the soap with a separate damp cloth to clear away any soap residue and then use a dry cloth to wipe the remaining water off the leather.
You should always condition the leather after cleaning, as the soap will have stripped some of its natural oils. Treat the leather with mink oil, olive oil, or beeswax with a clean cloth, gently rubbing a small amount of oil or wax in circles into the leather. Let the leather soak up the oil before wiping it with a final clean cloth to remove excess residue.
