Inspired by the canteens of ancient Rome
This Roman canteen or laguncula is inspired by metal containers used during the Roman Empire. Archaeological examples made of iron and copper alloys have survived to the present day, some of them dated between the 1st and 3rd centuries AD.
Its characteristic rounded shape, combined with the brass details and the top handle, make this reproduction a particularly interesting piece for historical reenactment, Roman camps, props, or decoration.
Made of steel and brass, it has an interior coating of beeswax. Due to its materials and manufacturing characteristics, it is intended exclusively for decorative and reenactment purposes and should not be used as a drinking vessel.

A piece inspired by Roman equipment
Archaeological findings allow us to know some of the metal containers used in Roman times. Examples have been preserved that were constructed from two pieces of iron joined together and decorated with copper alloy elements, a combination that recalls the design of this reproduction.
A perfect piece to complete the equipment of a Roman legionary, set the scene for a historical camp, or add a unique object to a collection dedicated to ancient Rome.
Important
Not suitable for direct contact with food or drinks. Do not use as a drinking vessel.
The interior beeswax coating does not make the product food-safe. Due to the characteristics of the material, small areas of oxidation may also appear on the inside.
