Orc Shrunken Head

Description

You hate orcs. They are violent, cruel, and evil creatures that have caused your family much pain and sorrow. The next time an orc tribe tries to raid your farm, you will have a trap ready for them. You manage to catch their scout, whom you kill in revenge and as a warning to his friends.

With careful precision, you prepare the head and hang it on the edge of your property. Perhaps the next orc will think twice before threatening you.

DETAILS

Epic Armoury’s Orc Shrunken Head is a gruesome latex accessory designed to look like the shrunken head of an orc enemy. Made from 100% natural latex and synthetic hair, this head ornament can be hung from a belt or staff using its long black hair. It will surely strike fear into the hearts of your enemies.

The orc shrunken head measures 12 cm high and 8 cm wide, with a wide nose and gnarled, pointed ears. Sculpted and hand-painted details make it look as if the head has been severed, boned, and preserved through a drying process. A sculpted latex bone has been placed through the trophy’s nose, and the lips have been pierced with beaded strings as decoration. The shrunken head is green with shaded folds and wrinkles. It can be carefully dry-brushed or customized with Epic Effects Make-Up.

HISTORY

  • Similar in use to the historical practice of collecting human trophies
  • Remains of the deceased were collected to demonstrate dominance or to commemorate
  • The earliest references to orcs are found in Old English and Anglo-Saxon sources, such as in Beowulf and in 16th-century Italian folktales

Quality

  • Thick, high-quality 100% natural latex skin
  • Beautiful attention to detail, with clear and fine lines
  • Requires little maintenance
  • Realistic weight and colors that match other Epic Effects products
  • High customizability

This product is handmade and painted, and therefore unique. As a result, compared to similar item numbers, this product may have natural deviations in pattern, color, and shape, which are not considered defects or faults.
We produce our image material in a natural environment, where lighting and surroundings can affect colors and contrast. Therefore, the images shown may appear different from the product you receive from us.

Measurements are all in cm unless otherwise stated.

Maintenance

Cleaning and maintenance

After each use, wash the head with a damp sponge or cloth with a mild detergent to remove your skin's natural oils. After drying, dust it lightly with baby powder.

Additionally, this Epic Armoury product requires Epic Armoury silicone spray to help keep the latex flexible and protect the mask against dirt and wear. Spray the silicone directly onto your latex head and wipe it over the entire surface with a cloth.

Storage

Do not expose the mask to direct sunlight for an extended period of time.

Modifications

Avoid using any oils or makeup colors that contain oils. Epic Armoury water-based makeup can be used on the head itself.
