DescriptionAfter hours of fleeing from bandits, you now find yourself deep in the forest, much further than you have ever been before. You have a purse full of coins and a magic sword at your side, but neither will be of much help if you cannot find your way back to civilization.
Fortunately, you have your compass tied to your belt. With it, you can guide yourself south. Eventually, you should reach a road if you keep walking in that direction... at least, that is what you hope. Perhaps you should have remembered to bring a map.
DETAILS
Epic Armoury’s Compass with Leather Pouch is a functional brass compass adorned with white cardinal points and degrees on a black background. The outer brass casing is 5 cm in diameter and features a hanging ring where a chain or leather cord can be attached.
Protect the compass by storing it inside the included leather pouch. Close the pouch with a leather cord and attach it to your belt using its leather strap. Combine this accessory with an adventurous rogue, a swashbuckler, or a practical soldier.

Maintenance
Epic Armoury metalwork products should still be treated with oil and kept in a dry place. All of our metal armor contains leather parts that need regular maintenance using leather care products to prevent the leather from drying out.
Cleaning
If your armor gets wet, it is important that you dry it completely as soon as possible.
After handling, wearing, or after six months of storage or display, all metal should be cleaned with a clean cloth. Lightly grease the clean surface with a quality machine or mineral oil. Alternatively, you can apply a layer of wax to the entire exposed metal surface. Let the wax dry for a couple of hours and then lightly buff it with a soft cloth.
Rust prevention and removal
Store your armor in a dry place and check it every two months for signs of rust. If you find any, remove it by gently rubbing the affected area with a lightly abrasive pad dampened with paste wax, oil, or a water-displacing liquid.
Leather straps and accessories
Clean by removing dirt with a stiff brush, then gently rub with leather soap and a clean, damp cloth until the leather looks clean. Remove the soap with a separate damp cloth to clean off any soap residue and then use a dry cloth to wipe the remaining water off the leather.
You should always condition the leather after cleaning, as the soap will have removed some of its natural oils. Treat the leather with mink oil, olive oil, or beeswax using a clean cloth, gently rubbing a small amount of oil or wax in circles into the leather. Let the leather soak in the oil before wiping it with a final clean cloth to remove any excess residue.
