The Shadow Torso armor, masterfully constructed from black leather, is a sturdy breastplate designed to offer substantial protection during LARP encounters. Its thick leather plates cover both the chest and back, extending to the hips to ensure maximum mobility. This armor is quickly adjustable and features a series of straps and buckles that allow the user. Each leather plate is meticulously stitched and designed to withstand use and blows. Maintenance
Natural leather products are very durable, but they require regular maintenance with leather care products to remain flexible and increase their lifespan. Ensure your leather products are kept dry when storing them. Let wet leather dry naturally before treating it. If it gets wet and dries frequently, increase the frequency of maintenance.
Cleaning
Clean by removing dirt with a stiff brush, then gently rub leather soap with a clean, damp cloth until the leather looks clean. Remove the soap with a separate damp cloth to clear any soap residue and then use a dry cloth to wipe the remaining water from the leather.
Conditioning
You should always condition the leather after cleaning it, as the soap will have removed some of its natural oils. Treat the leather with mink oil, olive oil, or beeswax with a clean cloth, gently rubbing a small amount of oil or wax in circles onto the leather. Let the leather soak in the oil before wiping it down with a final clean cloth to remove excess residue.
