The most feared infantry weapon on the European battlefields of the 15th century
The halberd was the dominant polearm in Late Medieval Europe (14th–16th centuries). It combined the functions of a spear, axe, and hook into a single piece, becoming the weapon of choice for Swiss infantry and German Landsknechte. This halberd reproduces that historical design with a hand-forged high carbon steel blade mounted on a solid wood shaft. As a handcrafted item, each piece features slight natural variations in the finish and wood grain, enhancing its value as a unique object.
