DETAILS
The Dark Elven War Axe from Epic Armoury is a latex axe designed as part of the Dark Elven Universe collection. The Dark Elven Axe is 100cm long and has a large spiked head. The 32cm long axe head is crescent-shaped and serrated, designed to resemble a claw or bone. The 45cm handle has a finish that resembles dark wood, adding to the weapon's shadowy appearance.
Made from durable closed-cell foam around a fiberglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, you can be sure that your LARP weapon will provide the safety and appeal you desire when building your kit.
INSPIRATION
- The first hafted axe was created around 6000 BC using birch tar and rawhide lashings to secure the blade to its handle.
- Many battle axes served as tools and were cheaper to make than swords.
- The dark elves were first mentioned in Norse mythology as the Dökkálfar or Svartálfar written in the Prose Edda in the 13th century.

Epic Armory Maintenance Silicone is an easy-to-use spray that is 100% pure and acid-free, making it safe to apply. We recommend using Maintenance Silicone regularly. It maintains the flexibility of the latex layer and prevents it from drying out, keeping the product resistant to wear and tear.
Store your latex guns horizontally or on their pommel, NEVER on their tip. Use a simple sheet or towel lining to prevent them from touching a plastic or rubber surface and prevent your gun from sticking to other products. Keep your guns in a cool, dry environment.
