DETAILS
The Epic Armoury Rapier is a latex medium sword inspired by medieval European weapons. The sword is 85 cm long and has a 70 cm double-edged straight blade with a center cutting edge. The crossguard curves toward the blade to catch incoming blows, protecting a detailed 10 cm handle with metal trim and real leather wrapped around the hilt.
Whether you're a nobleman or a valiant musketeer, this rapier is our highest-quality piece of equipment due to its impressive durability and detail. The blade is made of closed-cell foam around a fiberglass core and finished with a strong latex coating, while the handle is made of polyurethane foam, allowing for greater detail and zero maintenance. This next-generation sword model will give you confidence in the safety and appeal of your weapon on the battlefield.

Maintenance
The handle of this hybrid weapon requires no special maintenance, while the blade has a latex coating that requires a certain amount of care. For this purpose, we recommend using maintenance silicone, which can be purchased separately in the LARP Accessories section. Epic Armory Maintenance Silicone is an easy-to-apply spray, 100% pure, and acid-free, making it safe to apply. We recommend using Maintenance Silicone regularly, taking care not to spray the handle by first wrapping it in plastic wrap. This maintains the flexibility of the latex layer and prevents it from drying out, keeping the product resistant to wear and tear.
Store your firearm flat or on its pommel, NEVER on its tip. Use a simple sheet or towel lining to prevent it from touching a plastic or rubber surface and prevent your firearm from sticking to other materials. Keep your firearm in a cool, dry environment.
