The second part of the inscription is \u003ci\u003ebeagnoth\u003c\/i\u003e , probably the name of the wielder or armorer.  \u003cbr\u003eOur reconstruction is very similar in shape and dimensions to the early medieval original. Like the original, the inscription is represented in gold and silver inlays. In addition to the inscription, the single-edged blade has a continuous, narrow, but fairly deep groove. The blade is unsharpened and the surface is blued. The wooden handle grips are attached to the tang with brass rivets.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e The scope of delivery includes a wooden wall display with a numbered certificate of authenticity and a sturdy and elegant cowhide case.
