Built between 12 and 9 BC, it played an important role in the Batavian Revolt of 69\/70 AD and existed until the 5th century. The helmet uniquely combines a wide variety of stylistic elements: eye ornaments with raised pupils (as already known from pre-Roman helmets), rudimentary raised brow lines (as on Gallic imperial types), and cross-shaped reinforcements from italic imperial types.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Neck shield with angular decorations, a handle, and a tabula ansata. The cheek flaps missing from the badly damaged original were reconstructed based on the model of the Imperial Italic helmet of Worms and an individual find with a temple ornament from Venlo (Netherlands).\u003cbr\u003e  \u003cbr\u003eDating: Due to stylistic elements, primarily from the 2nd century AD, its use toward the end of the 1st century is also possible. The original is a unique find, with no other directly related finds datable.
