This knife, whose blade resembles an oversized chef's knife, was so popular that it crossed the Atlantic with the first European settlers and gradually spread throughout North and South America.\u003cbr\u003e  \u003cbr\u003eNow, Cold Steel® is very pleased to introduce our own version of this iconic knife. The wide, durable 1090 carbon steel blade, which has been kept in its classic shape, measures 30.5 cm long. Elaborate hand-notched (called jimping) blades are made on the back of the blade. The exotic Malaysian hardwood handle is traditionally hand-carved. The bolster and pommel are made of nickel-plated steel. Even the vagina of the Cold Steel® Large Facón knife follows the Argentine tradition.
