The spring steel blade, oil-hardened to approximately 48 HRC, extends to the pommel and is hand-riveted there. The handle is wrapped with a leather strap. The blade has a pronounced groove, giving the sword great elasticity yet lightness. The blade tip and cutting edges are blunt and rounded.\u003cbr\u003e The sword comes with a very handsome leather sheath with a wooden holder serving as a belt loop (for belts with a maximum width of 5 cm).
