While this fixed blade knife is visually very attractive and certainly has its appeal as a collectible, it was by no means designed as a display knife, but rather as a powerful knife for skinning game.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003eThe full \u003cem\u003e-tang\u003c\/em\u003e knife has a sharp, drop-point blade with a strongly curved belly. It is made of 440C stainless steel and is therefore ideal for all-round use, even in wet conditions. The blade surface still shows traces of forging, giving the knife a rustic appearance. The decorative filing on the back completes the blade's special look.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e The micarta handles are secured to the blade's tang with two pins. Particularly beautiful are the handle inlays of reconstituted turquoise (pieces of turquoise sealed with synthetic resin), reminiscent of the Blue River (a tributary of the Colorado River) and giving the skinning knife its name.
