This special type of dagger, called \u003ci\u003ea kidney dagger\u003c\/i\u003e or \u003ci\u003etesticle dagger\u003c\/i\u003e (English \u003ci\u003ebollock\u003c\/i\u003e \u003ci\u003edagger\u003c\/i\u003e ), owes its unusual name to the characteristic shape of its handle, which ends at the guard with two striking spherical or ovoid protuberances.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e This reproduction has a blunt, single-edged steel blade that tapers evenly from the guard to a sharp point.
